A Palm Coast resident since 2017, she spent 28 years with the U.S. Postal Service and two years with the Department of Commerce, retiring as a postal executive who managed large budgets. She is running to bring that fiscal discipline and a focus on strong public schools to the board — championing high academic standards, accountability, and local decision-making for Flagler's families.

Only 37% of students arrive Kindergarten Ready and many who are not ready did not attend the free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program. Data shows that 75% of these children will never catch up to their peers and they are more likely to not graduate. I want to understand the barriers that keep so many children from attending this free program and work to remove the barriers.
